Easy Overnight Oats

Yield: 5 servings

 Ingredients:

  • 1 2/3 cup rolled oats, divided

  • 1 2/3 cup milk of choice, divided

  • 1 2/3 cup fruit of choice, divided

  • 10 tsp maple syrup or brown sugar (optional), divided

  • 1 2/3 cup yogurt (optional), divided

  • 1 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional), divided

  • 2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional), divided

Equipment:

  • Large frying Pan with a lid

  • Knife & Cutting board

  • Large plate

  • Large mixing bowl

  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Fork or Whisk

  • Small clear glass

Directions:

  1. Measure 1/3 cup of oats into each of the 5 containers or jars.

  2. Measure 1/3 cup of oats into each of the 5 containers or jars

  3. Mix oats and milk with a spoon. Add optional 2 tsp maple syrup or brown sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon to each container if using and stir.

  4. Wash, measure, and then cut, peel, and/or pit fruits as needed before adding to the jar or container.

  5. Top with yogurt (optional) and fruit.

  6. Close the lid tightly and let sit in the fridge overnight to set and enjoy in the morning!
